HOW TO HELP US RAISE FUNDS WITH COME DRAW WITH ME!
The Campaign for Drawing is an independent arts education charity which raises the profile of drawing as a tool for thought, creativity, social and cultural engagement. It is best known for coordinating the annual Big Draw festival every October in 20 Countries. The Charity receives no public funding and relies on the generosity of sponsors and individuals to continue its good work. Here are some ideas to help us raise funds through your Come Draw With Me!
Charge your guests a fixed contribution to attend the event.
Ask your guests to make a voluntary contribution to the event, where the size of donations will vary.
Run a small raffle and bake a cake for the winner.
Ask your guests to bring a bottle of wine – or other desirable object – and hold a lottery for it.
Decide in advance how much money you hope to raise. You might also think of additional ideas to boost your fundraising target.
Remind guests that the money raised will increase opportunities for young people to learn through drawing,
and for adults to discover a powerful medium for self-expression and communication
You can either send your contribution by cheque, made payable to The Campaign for Drawing,
