BIG DRAW GALLERY
This is a chance to see what The Big Draw is all about. The annual Big Draw season spans the whole of October
and takes place throughout the UK, in galleries, museums, science centres, heritage and environmental sites,
libraries, archives, community and shopping centres, colleges, nurseries, schools and art clubs. Most events
are free and accessible to people of all ages and abilities. From July 2008 you will be able to search our on-line
listings for the nearest Draw events. In the meantime you can view images of previous Big Draw events from each
year since the Campaign for Drawing was launched in 2000. Just use the links on the left for each year.
National Launches – every year we make a big splash with our national launch event, inviting everyone to join
us and to pick up a pencil – and thousands do! This year's free launch will take place at Wellcome Collection and
University College London, 26-28 September.
Big Draw events – organisers from around the UK offer a record of their Big Draw activities. These images show
the diversity of approaches and audiences that The Big Draw involves.
