Mount Stewart opened its gates to the world famous
gardens free to everyone for the Northern Ireland Big Draw Launch.

The day had a wide variety of activities to include family 3D art fun,
professional artists sketching in the neo-classical house and floating art on
the lake.

|
With the aid of professional artists, volunteers and staff Mount Stewart was
open to all ages and abilities to explore their artistic talents through 9
different activities.

In the main reception area all ages were supplied with free art materials and
notebooks and there were display boards to leave your artwork behind.
|
|
The postcard competition proved very popular with the under 13 years and a
selection of winners were chosen by the artists.

|
|
Overall Mount Stewart had a great sunny autumn day full of outdoor activity and
in every corner someone could be seen drawing.
