Visitors were invited to create their own piece of modern art, in the form of a
t-shirt, in the Waterhall Gallery.

They were inspired by the exhibition Human Condition, which looks at the
way artists have depicted the human body, both inside and out.
|
|
They were also encouraged to pick up a free sketch-book and pencil and follow
the Drawing Trail around the galleries. They could dress up as a character in a
painting and ask a friend to sketch them.

All around them they could see larger-than-life sculptural installations by
Raymond Mason, haunting imagery in 'In Illo Tempore I' by Anna Maria Pacheco
and had the opportunity to watch the activities in the brain as someone plays
the piano, in a DVD by Marta de Menezes.
