BIG DRAW LAUNCHES
The Campaign for Drawing launches each Big Draw season with a flagship event
open to everyone. Taking place over the last weekend in September, the National
Launch kicks off a drawing extravaganza which runs throughout October. It
showcases a wide range of activities, helping to challenge concepts of drawing
in everyday usage. Many thousands of people have attended this annual highlight
held in previous years at venues such as The British Museum, V&A, Trafalgar
Square, Exhibition Road and Somerset House. Drawing on Life, the 2008 Launch
takes place at Wellcome Collection and University College London, Friday
